Yuna is one of the most lovely people you will ever meet! She owns the amazing Womb In Bloom 4D ultrasound center on Hilltop near my incredible chiropractor. Anyway, her Redding family session was such a gorgeous session. Just look at those 4 amazing kiddos!
So what should you expect to happen at your Redding Family Session?
My portrait sessions feel more like an experience. This is because from start to finish I help to create something simple and relaxed for your family. Services like client wardrobe really help with this.
Every family session has a few posed moments and a whole lot of candid moments. Keeping things real and not to formal helps the kids have a great experience and this also relieves mom and dad from feeling like they have to enforce to many rules. Side note: Yuna’s children were amazing to photograph. They played and posed like champs.
Yuna chose to dress her own family which is so phenomenal. If this is daunting to you not to worry because I have a curated Client Wardrobe for everyone!
Let’s talk more about posing-
As you can see from Yuna’s portraits, I love a fairly casual snuggly pose. Something I always say to clients is “If I’m not telling you to change what you are doing then you are probably doing it perfect!”
Another posing must is always something with each of your children by themselves. I try to capture each one in such a way that their personality shines through. I might ask them their favorite color, about their birthday, or what their favorite toy is!
No Family Portrait Session would be complete if we didn’t capture mom and dad together. I think this is dad’s favorite part and every family needs epic portraits of those two special people that made this whole thing happen!
