Having a brand new baby can be the most wonderful challenge which is why I offer in home newborn sessions.
It’s a complimentary option to have your Newborn Portrait Session in your home so lets explore what it’s all about!
This option is perfect for Redding, CA families because you can decide how “studio” you want your portraits to turn out. Since I pack up and bring everything in my studio space to you, we can still get the posed studio look with some lifestyle portraits as well. If you do not feel comfortable including lifestyle shots not to worry! I bring my backdrops and beanbag and your portraits will look like you came to me but you didn’t have to load up the kids or put on real pants… That was always a plus for me!
Sometimes mama just needs to stay cozy, ya know!
Below I have put the link to contact me so you can start your experience today! When you enquire mention an in home newborn session so I know you are interested.

Being able to drive as far as Sacramento for a portrait session makes for a fun day trip. Mama Layne is so sweet and she had the cutest little backyard to shoot in. I normally do not take newborns outdoors or have them near dogs. However, I felt like these were safe options since we were in the client’s home space.
Layne chose to use client wardrobe during her session and I have a whole blog post about it HERE.
Side note: I love posing baby with Mommy and Daddy’s hands in the shot. Its the perfect way to be in the images with your baby if you aren’t sure if you actually want to be in the images with your baby!
His in home newborn session worked out great because his family lived a bit farther out of Redding, CA. Come to this client’s home made things easier for big sister and for the whole family.
Let me know if you think this complimentary service is awesome! I’d love to hear from you.
