Newborns

Congratulations! I'm so incredibly excited for you and your family! As far as booking your session...I would say the best time to contact me about getting on the calendar would be at the beginning to middle of your second trimester. I also recommend talking to me about maternity portraits then too!

That is such a good question! What I like to do is have you choose a date for your session that is near your due date. Once baby is here you would message me to let me  know that they have arrived and based off of how you and baby are doing we will adjust your session date accordingly. Most important thing at this point is to get on the calendar and then adjusting your date is a piece of cake after that!

There are so many different ways to have a newborn session and I know their are so so many options out there. The way that I like to have my newborn sessions is very natural and very simple. I almost always place baby on a white backdrop or in a white swaddle. I like having baby posed in such a way that it looks like baby could have naturally fell into the pose they are in without alot of outside help. I have a few props and baskets but they are limited. You are welcome to see them at your session and if baby is in a good sleepy spot I am totally up for using them after we capture the beanbag shots on white. (below are a few of my props)

Yes! You absolutely can bring along something special. If baby is doing great we will try and fit in your sentimental pieces as long as baby is always safe and comfortable.

Absolutely! I love to include the entire family and adding in sibling shots and mom and dad shots are complimentary. Actually, adding anyone you would like to your newborn session is completely free and does not change the price of your newborn session. If you are in my studio space the max number of participants is about 6 to 8.

I have 3 amazing options for your newborn session and non of them at any investment to your session fee. You can freely choose which ever location fits your family best. The locations are in my white studio space, in your home and I bring my lighting and equipment to you, or outdoors.
